[Sony] [A850] le premier relfex full frame 24 MPix à moins de 1700€
Sony has launched en September a cheaper version of its professional DSLR body the A900, the A850 for a public price of 2000€ , but you can find it at www.mgmi.fr at 1630€

in a nutshell you get
- a full frame sensor of 24Mpix which offer a unique sense of details to your photos
- the cability to find back the depth of field and wide angle of a film camera
- the built in stabilised body (whereas for Canon and Nikon you have to pay it for each lens)
- the ablity to mount the wonderful Carl Zeiss lenses with AF (only MF for other brands)
- a superb visor
the main difference with the A900 are the visor which cover 98% instead of 100% and a frame rate of 3fps i.o 5fps
for the competitiors we have
the
- Sony A900 : 2300€ same + 100% visor coverage and 5fps
- Canon 5D Mark II : 2350€ : 21 MPix with 3.8 fps, video (not autofocus) + static live view
- Nikon D3X : 7000€ : 24Mpix (Nikon use sony sensor in its camera) + a bench of additional features like integrated grip, live view, wifi, higher fps in low resolution mode...
For some tests
Test at luminous landscape
Test at imaging resource
+ some magazine tests (chasseurs d'images, réponses photos...)
you can also contact me to test the A900 which is quasi identical to the A850
